What we aim for

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Beyond the standard, we design specifically for older-adult usability, which sometimes means going further than the guidelines require.

What that means in practice

• Body text is set at 18 pixels or larger. Nothing on this site is set below 16 pixels.
• Line spacing is generous, and line length is kept short enough to track easily.
• Buttons and links are at least 48 pixels tall, with space between them, so they are easy to hit accurately.
• Every color combination used for text has been checked against the contrast standard.
• Links are underlined, not just colored, so they can be identified without relying on color vision.
• The whole site works with a keyboard, and the focus outline is always visible — never removed.
• Nothing important depends on hovering. There are no hover-only menus and no controls that appear only when a mouse is over them.
• The page works at 200% zoom without content being cut off or overlapping.
• There is no autoplaying audio and no video that starts by itself.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and smooth scrolling are turned off automatically.
• Every page has a “Skip to main content” link as the first thing you reach.

How this is tested

Automated checks run against every page on every build: axe-core for WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules, a color-contrast check on every pair the site uses, a keyboard-interaction check, and a responsive check at seven screen widths plus a 200% zoom pass.

Automated testing is not enough on its own. It catches roughly a third of real accessibility problems. Manual review — moving through the site by keyboard, checking the reading order, and looking at real pages at real sizes — is part of the process too, and is not something a passing test can replace.

Known limitations

Once you go to checkout or sign in to your classes, you are on Kajabi, a separate platform we do not control. Its accessibility is governed by Kajabi, not by this site.
